Moving house is hard. Glad to find out I am not the only person who talks to the place I am leaving. I have moved so very many times and expect I have at least one more to go in this lifetime. Love the Tomte and that you are gifting one to the new guardians of your old Shed.

I feel like saying goodbye to the house and the Shed and the environs is exactly the right thing to do. I also feel like it might be the last thing that has to happen to get the move to happen. Just as you have a new baby, your house move has been a labor to accomplish, but it's time it was born! Beltane is a fire festival and it sounds like there's been a lot of chaotic fire energy floating around you and yours. Happy Moving Day (soon!)
Oh I am so excited and so nervous for you all at the same time. I didn't know there was a new grandbaby entering the world, how wonderful! I'm keeping everything crossed that baby and keys to the house arrive soon, within hours even!
Karin I'm so sorry about these blooming solicitors. It will all work out but it's nerve wracking having to go through it all. I love your little Tomte and that you are leaving one for the new owner. I'm excited for your new chapter and maybe since you won't be in a shed it could be a nook,den, huddle. You will come up with the right name when you move in and get a feel for it. or maybe a shedling? or a shedlette? it would be nice somehow to pay homage to your dear shed. just be sure you take some lovely photos of your house and shed before you go.
