Happy Summer Solstice from Miami, Florida, USA! I did read all the way to the bottom and I always do. It gives me much joy to do so and read about your adventures or misadventures like your "knackered knee". I love your expressions. They are so unique and well, expressive! So please don't stop doing what you do even if it is at a pace slower than you would like.
Happy Summer Solstice Karin! I think with the horrible time you had before your move you are doing great. It takes time just for our bodies to get over that never mind the actual move. The picture we have in our heads never usually is what actually happens but you are in your beautiful home now and the boxes and stuff will slowly disappear. I think you will come up with wonderful creations in your new home and even Lupin will settle down. You take care of that knee,I would never had thought the fish pond was that deep either ! Were they keeping a shark ? lol. Much love xxx
Goodness I didn't realise how bad your pond injury was, I'm glad it's on the mend and that you found a silver lining because I've been loving your new walks too. I always think of you at Midsummer because Florence Pugh really reminded me of you in the film Midsomer - I mean this as a compliment! Much love and midsummer blessings 🌼🌸💮🌺
Oh, hello Bernard! I've missed you! Perhaps you've Prosecco in your trolley? I always like a fizzy wine to celebrate a momentous occasion such as this move to your dream home.
So beautiful, Karin, and I'm so glad that your new home has welcomed you! Although perhaps the pond was a bit over-enthusiastic and keen to say hello ... hope that you're soon on the mend! Hoping too that Bernard has something elderflowery about his person to help celebrate Midsummer! xxx
Quickly while I’m waiting for Bernard, Barnes is a lovely village-y place and the nature reserve by the river is peaceful. It hardly feels like London to a SE Londoner like me! Your bit of Wales sounds lovely x
Those ponds are beautiful. What a wonderful place to walk and talk, and so close to home. It will be gorgeous through the seasons. I am planning to attack my membership choklit today after I've done the ironing😖🧖♂️🍫🍫.
oooo, sorry to hear about your knee - that's not the best way to settle in! but the silver lining (because there always is one) is that you've found the tranquil beauty on your "doorstep" and really, what could be better than a large pond filled with wildlife? ... bliss ♡♡♡
hope you are walking better soon, and I really hope Lupin can settle happily into his new home too xx
Read all the way through! Hope you heal quickly and thank you for sharing. Loved it all.
Ah thank you! Love your name too
